Danny DeVito! I love your work!

- Mean Girls (2004).

Girl Power
In case you didn't already know, I'm a massive lover of patterns. Recently I was speaking to my friends about this love (come obsession):

Moi: "I looooove  patterned trousers. Love 'em"

Very pretty pal: "I feel like my legs are too chunky to wear them"

Okay. Problem number 1, girls.

Why do we do this to ourselves?
"I like that, but I'd only wear it if I were skinny."

I've said it, you've said it. We've all said it, but why? If you like it - wear it!

This is my new motto, henceforth:

top: charity shop     blazer: charity shop (originally Oasis)      trousers: next     boots: chokers shoes

Apologies for the massive difference in lighting here - I have no idea what happened but there was a monsoon outside so the hallway will just have to do...

Also you may have noticed a complete LACK of film-y posts (for shame, film grad, for shame) keep your eyes peeled for a Glasgow Film Festival update soon!

x

Ps. I'm heading to London for a few days tomorrow, any tips on things / places I need to do / see?

  1. Whenever I'm in London I try to squeeze in a visit to Camden Market. Even if I don't buy anything (ha!) the vibe is great. Whatever you do will be fab I'm sure, enjoy!

  2. Love the pattern on your trousers so much! I don't often wear patterned trousers too for much the same reason...should just be bold and try :-). I love Portobello Road in London and always visit the Hummingbird Bakery for cupcakes!

  3. Wow - I love your patterned trousers!! Go you for being brave enough to wear them :) whenever I visit London I try and fit in a visit to the Tate - to many this sounds so boring but if you like arty stuff and free places then it's the perfect trip to make! They do have some great artwork on show, not been for a while myself but I'm sure it'd be worth the trip if you did decide to go! xx
