- Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996).
I took a trip to the past to see the future.
My fave form of procrastination is visiting old tv series and watching every. single. episode. This week, the series of choice has been good ol' Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
I'm turning 22 in a few days so I'm taking a trip back to the 1990's - a time when I imagined at 22 I would have my shit together. I do not.
You might be thinking this is an odd post, and you're totally correct -ding ding ding! - but it has a point. I was working my way through series 3, 'Salem & Julliet' to be precise, and ...
While looking for an article for the school newspaper, Sabrina watches Harvey tuck into a disgusting looking burger for lunch in the school cafeteria, she dramatically snatches it away and exclaims:
"THERE'S NO MEAT IN THIS BURGER!"
Ok so maybe not that dramatic, but I like setting a scene.
She then went on to believe Mr. Kraft was nicking the meat money and buying fancy office stuff - so Sabrina brews a truth potion, that acccidentally turns out to be a horse potion. The ensuing scenario:
Sabrina: "Mr. Kraft, what is really in those burgers?!"
Mr Kraft: "Neiiiiighh!"
Whatdidatellya?!
Sabrina always knew.

DeleteThis is brilliant!! What a coincidence. Same here, back when I watched Sabrina religiously I imagined by this age (you've got a year on me, I'm 23, eeek) I'd be a proper grown up. This has yet to happen :P
