If you've ever wondered where your dreams come from, look around... this is where they're made.

Do You Do It Like A Dude?

Hello lovely bloggers! I have been so neglectful of late, between snow times and Winter illness (most likely brought on as a result of those multiple snow angels...) Roaring Twenties has fallen slightly on the back-burner.

Unfortunately my little camera has gone walkies so I have no obligatory snow post! (bad blogger)

I do however have a little outfit post to share with you from a few days ago, when I stole the other half's t-shirt. There's something about wearing the OH clothes, whether it be the smell of his aftershave - I'm wondering now if he ever actually washes his t-shirts - or just the fact that they are so comfy.

"I like your top"

"Thanks, its my boyfriends, really..."

"Aren't there enough female clothes for you?!"

Well, no. I feel like this is a point I could turn into a raging feminist, we are in 2013 folks - can't we dress however we like? Baby girls don't always have to be dressed in pastel pink you know. We are in a generation encouraging individuality, and although I'm not exactly pushing to the extremes here with a black t-shirt I'm quite comfortable fighting the corner of 'doing it like a dude'.

Between his hoodies, tees and shirts, my wardrobe is seriously expanding. Oops. Add a slick of red lippy and I don't at all feel like I'm compromising my femininity by wearing male clothing.

Monday 21st January is known as 'Blue Monday' so to combat the blues I've spent my day off with DVDs, munchies and staying cosy by the roaring fire.

 A friend of mine said:

"Everyone would me much happier if today was renamed Blue Monday appreciation day"

before breaking out into this song... I feel a dance coming on.

How have you spent Blue Monday?

x

ps. can someone help me justify swapping rent payment for this? cry!

  2. Boyfriend T-shirts are the best (I need to get me one of those, mainly for the clothing allowance they provide.) I don't see anything wrong with wearing a guy's clothes anyway; a lot of the guys I know say there's nothing sexier than a girl in one of his shirts of T-shirts. This outfit looks great :) xxx

  4. I love wearing the boyfriends clothing just because it means no one else (well at least no girl) will be wearing the same as me! :) although since he's crazy tall a lot of his stuff is therefore crazy big on me, but I kinda like that look anyway :)
As for substituting rent for the jacket......WOW that is one expensive jacket!! Haha that's actually more than my months rent haha!! But as long as you wear it like all the time (at least 450 times so it's only like £1 per wear) then I think it's justifiable!

    1. Hahah, a t-shirt dress?!

I know! Primark need to get on that and make a cheaper version... even if I wear it every day for a year I haven't made my money back! Aghhh, but I LOVE your justification!

  8. I'm so with you on comfy boyfriend clothing! Especially at bed time, somehow, his oversized tshirts are more comfy than my restrictive tee and short pjs! And they smell so nice like him as well. I sound like a weirdo. But I agree, let us all wear each others clothes! haha xx
