50 Shades of... Green?
Okay, I lied. It's actually only three shades of green, but I liked the tagline anyway.
Today's post is about this panther print shirt from Ever Ours, I've been looking a while for a shirt just like this, but not from the high street. I find all to often I'm wearing the same shirt as that girl over there... who tends to look better in it than I do. Great.
The panther print is in a brown/khaki shade and black, and I decided I wanted to team it with green rather than my usual go-to black jeans and this is what I came up with:
shirt: ever ours belt: river island skirt: laura ashley (charity shop)
boots: asda knobbly knees: aye...
This skirt is a dream, I love the deep green shade and I feel very womanly, although it used to 'caress the curves' (oooh!) now it squeezes the fat. Ugh, diet you are staring again on Monday.
skirt: river island hat: charity shop
Ooh look at that! A blogger in a bowler! I love this maxi skirt, and its thick jersey material works in every season.
skirt: boohoo.com bag: primark shoes: everything5pounds.com bow: crown&glory
This look is very much 'schoolgirl' what with the mini satchel, plaited hair and those shoes. But I love those shoes. Unfortunately I don't think this shade of green does much for my skin tone and the cut isn't all that flattering.
What do you think?
How would you wear this shirt?

ps. the title of this post is from a Sixto Rodriguez song, from the aptly named 'Searching for Sugarman' - my absolute top film of 2012. Please, check it out! It's amazing!
The last skirt is actually my favourite! Just goes to show one girls rubbish is another girls treasure!!
