You better have your butt in gear.

- Footloose (1984)

Is there an easy way?

Hell, if there is I'll find it.

Reebok EasyTone claim: "If you're walking, they're working."

"The EasyTone collection features built-in balance pods with Moving Air Technology, which transfer air in response to your stride and create micro-instability with every step.
  1. Mesh/synthetic upper for added comfort, support, breathability and durability
  2. SmoothFit seamless design helps minimize rub and irritation; specially designed Women’s Specific Last technology ensures optimal fit and function for a woman’s foot
  3. Midfoot shank and overlay for stability and support; antimicrobial PU sockliner provides cushioning and moisture management."

Yeah, I have no idea what any of that means either. What on earth is my 'shank'? Also moisture management sounds disgusting. I don't think my feet have ever been that sweaty.

In my desperate attempt to tone up the excess junk in my rather large trunk I gambled £20 on these trainers.

See that 'micro-instability' they're talking about? There ain't nothing 'micro' about it - I went for a walk in these just a few days ago with my friend.
I twatted it twice.

I went for a run on the treadmill in them.
I looked deranged, flailing all over the place trying to stay steady.
In fact, I looked a bit like this.

I did the housework in them.
I gave up & sat down - too much like hard work.

All in all they are not the most comfortable of trainers, the laces are a bit awkward (whats wrong with plain ol' circular ones? these are flat and stupid) and occasionally they give my toes a bit of a numb, tingly feeling. Not a fan of that.

I'm not sure I spent my money wisely looking for a cheap bum toning trick - but I guess time will tell. Will my booty ever look like this lady's? Stay tuned.

She clearly has never found the joy of sitting on that booty munching chocolate donuts. Poor soul.

Do you have these?

 Would you buy them?

  1. Shank? Lamb shank is all I can think of and I don't even know what that is either really. Hopefully these do something though, maybe they just take a bit of getting used to! xxx
